    Satisfactory

Have stayed in these cottages several times before and know what to expect which is why we return each year.

The little luxuries we have come to expect from previous visits were no longer present ie towelling dressing gowns, shower gel and welcome biscuits. They were sorely missed. The frying pan had long since lost its non stick. Be aware the latch on the kitchen door is a safety hazard.

Great location for visiting local attractions, comfortable and a good TV for nights in. If the cleaning issue is sorted

Although access is by a single track road there are passing places, although we never encountered anyone during our stay, and the property is very conveniently situated for Bamburgh and other local attractions. The property was cosy, we did not need to use the electric fire, and comfortable enough

The decor is now a little tired. The fireplace is very large but the heater is a small electric fire in the shape of a log burner which looks incongruous, the space would easily accommodate the TV which might look slightly better if a little unusual. The main issue was that the cleaning was below standard with accumulated dust on several surface and in the corners on skirting boards. There were also cobwebs in the corner of the bedroom by the side of the bed. The bed linen, towels etc were nice and clean.

Pleasant stay . A small patio or garden would have been nice

Nice quiet location . Comfortable stay

No garden . Only places to sit outside were behind the cottage and beside the cars of other people staying at the surrounding cottages. The bathroom seemed a bit damp - dark patches on the ceiling on on bath sealant . The cottage was quite dark .

Great cottage in a very quiet location. Easy to get to Bamburgh

Nice cosy clean cottage. Well equipped. Good parking

Nothing but was a little remote and also could do with some automatic lighting around the back of the cottage.
