  Lovely property which we wouldn’t hesitate to book again in future.

  A very well appointed comfortable and spacious dog friendly property. Private off street parking, and a lovely large enclosed rear garden. Great quiet location, within easy access to all of the surrounding area. It was very warm while we visited and we found it very easy to cool the house down with through drafts from windows which was a huge plus! The garden furniture was also very welcome during that period.

  Very little negative to say as the property really is lovely. Note dogs are not allowed upstairs, which is not clear on the listing. Possibly just trying to be helpful, however we did find the volume of laminated do/don’t type notes instructions a little excessive. Not a requirement, however a suggestion would be to add some larger pasta type bowls that would hold sauces better than only flat plates.

  Accommodation fantastic. Letting agent let it down. Apologetic owner.

  The cottage was fantastic. Great size for three of us and even if there were 6 people it would have been a good soze. It was bright, airy, with all the little touches to make our lives easier. A home from home. Wonderful floor to ceiling windows which I opened every morning and lay in bed listening to the birds in the garden. Great shower. Well resourced kitchen. Fantastic garden. Great location in relation to Bempton Cliffs and the train station.

  The only thing we didn't like was Host and Stay who was managing the property. After paying the 25% deposit on booking they then took the remaining money the next day rather than the due date set out in the details on the booking page. Dealing with Host and Stay was a nightmare. they were rude, unhelpful and in the end with Booking.com involved I got my money back but the whole thing soured the booking, hence only 9 not 10. It took hours of my time to resolve. We did see the owner of the property during the stay and explained the problem. She was lovely and apologetic. Will not be booking with Host and Stay anywhere again. Thank goodness that Booking.com sorted relatively promptly.

  Beautiful house. Ideal for 4 adults and two children but we are just a couple who love to have a large kitchen and plenty of space. The house is very clean and well maintained and the garden is great for sunny evenings. The kitchen is well-equipped. Ideal for self catering. The bedrooms are lovely- dark at night with no TVs in them! Yey! The bathroom is also lovely with cruelty-free shower gels and shampoos. The locality offers so much. Bempton cliffs is walkable and the gannets are magnificent but we saw dozens of puffins and seals further up the coast. The local pub serves vegan and vegetarian options. We had a fabulous time! Thank you very much. Diolch yn fawr iawn.
