    Relaxing stay had by all the family! Would recommend ⭐

    Good location for visiting local towns and castles. Clean park and amenities, lodge itself was in great condition and very modern, cosy and had everything we needed for our stay.

    Hot tub limit until 10pm was a little too early. The stars were just becoming clearer at that point. But for our group/family it worked out fine.

    A bit disappointed with the lodge overall.

    Good open views, good TV , comfortable sofa. 2 bathrooms. The country park had good dog walking provision and was very clean .

    Cooker needs attention as knobs didn’t appear to be in the right position, it was difficult to work even with the instructions. Kitchen utensils-pots and pans were greasy and very worn, with surfaces pitted and peeling. Would benefit from an electric kettle and some new pots. Hot tub didn’t feel hot even though we had the temperature checked. Only one bed was made up for our stay and the other bedroom had a stale smell of cigarettes. The lodge is no smoking. The privacy screens on the veranda were broken and 2 lamps on the banister were damaged and loose.
