  Good views and beach access, but serious concerns about fire safety in the extension.

  One of the front desk staff was nice and helpful and provided us with glasses for the room. The view over the road to the beach was good, and there was plenty parking available. It was a 15 minute drive to the old town which was worth visiting.

  We were on the 3rd floor, which was an extension. The lift only went to the second floor, leaving two flights of stairs to the room. We were concerned about fire safety - there was no fire plan, the fire escape stairs were being used for storage, a fire door was propped open, there was no signage indicating the exit, and there were no fire extinguishers on our floor! The smoke alarm on the corridor appeared to be very basic, as did the wooden bedroom fire doors. At breakfast (09:30) we were directed to sit at one specific table as the the other tables were being set for lunch. There were only 2 other people at breakfast, but we instructed not to move...🤨
