  Hotel piękny, widok z tarasu zapiera dech. Obsługa hotelu bardzo miła i przyjazna. Przede wszystkim Panowie z recepcji. Śniadania bardzo pyszne. Sprzątanie w pokojach codziennie. Bardzo fajna lokalizacja, do centrum Forio spacerkiem 15 minut. Serdecznie dziękujemy i pozdrawiamy.

  Try flying higher, Albatross!

  What I liked best was the view of the sea from the terrace in my room. We weren’t lucky with the weather – we only had two sunny days – and the magic of the sun setting over the sea was truly enchanting. The staff at the hotel are exceptionally friendly; they’re kind, eager to help, speak several languages and have a good sense of humour. Transport is well organised; the hotel offers transfers to the beach, to the Poseidon thermal baths and to the centre of Forio – you just need to book them at reception the day before. The rooms are spacious. The shower has plenty of hot water at a good pressure. We were there in October, so we didn’t test the air conditioning, but it might prove very necessary in summer. The hotel’s internet connection worked brilliantly. At the Albatros, they have a lovely thermal pool and another one with cool water, perfect for swimming. The hotel has good parking facility.

  The biggest problem for my wife and me was the stairs. I’d overlooked the fact that the hotel didn’t have a lift when I made the booking. There were two flights of stairs leading from reception to our room. We are getting on in years, and climbing up and down them was a problem for us. I also missed having fitness facilities; it rained for most of our stay and we were unable to exercise. I’m disappointed with the food. The tiramisu served for dessert one day was the worst I’ve ever eaten in my life. Lots of sponge, not enough cream. I enjoyed the antipasti, but the pasta was sometimes barely warm and overcooked. Albatros chef, you need to do better! Italian cuisine is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site! The mattresses on the bed were already quite worn out; the same could be said of the faded towels.
