    Modern hotel in a nice location close to Lake Constance.

    We booked and prepaid a double room that is described everywhere on Booking.com as a room for two people. On arrival, the hotel charged us an extra €55 for the second person, only because the companion's name had not been entered in the booking. The price we paid was already for two guests, so this charge made no sense to us. On top of that, we paid €20 extra just to have a room on the second floor, which we found unreasonable. These unexpected charges really spoiled our stay. Future guests should be aware and check with the hotel in advance.
