  Extremely disappointing stay – misleading advertising and unacceptable compensation We chose this hotel specifically to celebrate our engagement and enjoy a few relaxing days together. The main reasons we booked were the advertised heated swimming pool and jacuzzi, as we wanted to unwind and make this special occasion memorable. Unfortunately, the experience was incredibly disappointing and fell far below our expectations. The swimming pool was absolutely freezing, despite being advertised as heated, making it impossible to enjoy it as we had planned. To make matters worse, the jacuzzi was broken and completely unusable. These were the main facilities that influenced our decision to book this hotel, so finding out that neither met our expectations was extremely frustrating. What makes the situation even worse is that the hotel admitted they had known for four days that the jacuzzi was broken. Despite knowing this, they continued to accommodate guests without properly informing us beforehand. Had we known that the jacuzzi was out of order and the swimming pool was not heated, we would have chosen somewhere else entirely. To add insult to injury, the compensation offered was just €25 to spend at the hotel. Quite frankly, this was unacceptable and completely inadequate given the circumstances. We paid for a stay specifically because of facilities that were advertised but unavailable or not functioning as expected. Offering €25 to spend at the same hotel does not genuinely compensate guests for the disappointment, inconvenience, or the experience they paid for but did not receive. This was supposed to be a special trip to celebrate our engagement, a moment we wanted to remember for the right reasons. Instead, we were left feeling disappointed, frustrated, and let down by a hotel that failed to deliver on what influenced our booking in the first place. Guests deserve transparency, especially when essential advertised facilities are unavailable.
