Great value hotel, well located with lovely garden area
Breakfast was included in the room rate and was a typical Nepal style buffet with hot and cold selections and a choice of eggs cooked as you like. There is a dining room and lovely garden where we took our meals, served by really lovely and attentive staff. The hotel is located near the Garden of Dreams in Thamel, down a quiet and safe street with good restaurants and coffee shops nearby, and close to the taxi stand. Only a 5 minute walk to the busy Thamel town centre. Also short term parking for our Manager to easily drive in and pick us up.
I was happy with with everything - for the price the room was good. Plenty of hot water and we were offered extras of anything we needed such as shampoo and towels.

Have stayed at Blue Horizon many times over the years, always a good experience. Especially with the new room upgrades...new beds and bathrooms. On a quiet street but only a block from Thamel
Please apologise to the Laundry....I found my socks in my laundry bag
