Was an amazing and magical experience/vacation made all the better with our stay at Hotel Burgmeier!
The hotel Manager/Owner, Tony, was AMAZING! Tony was very friendly, courteous, and went out of his way to help us with any questions regarding the area. The hotel, and our rooms were very clean and it felt more like staying with family than a hotel. Quiet, relaxing area. The Continental Breakfast was AMAZING with fresh bread delivered every morning, fresh fruit, fresh smoked meats and cheese boards, yogurts, toppings, and fresh HOMEMADE jellies/jams! There were also farm fresh eggs that could be cooked on the spot for hard-boiled eggs. The sliced, smoked meats were made by the owners of the hotel. They were delicious. The breakfast is not a free amenity, so you will have to pay. Again, worth every penny and super convenient for rushed sightseeing and travel times! The rooms and bathrooms were very clean and adequately sized to fit our needs. The beds were comfortable, but the pillows were a little too soft. I used my travel neck pillow so no problem. There is no air conditioning but that was not a problem as we went for Oktoberfest in Munich and the weather was beautiful and not too hot. The rooms stayed cool, and sleeping at night was very pleasant. It was a short walk, or uber, to and from the train station. The train to Munich was very easy to catch and was a clean, easy trip. The train back from Munich to Dachau and our hotel was sometimes a little tricky as our connecting trains would sometimes get cancelled las minute. However, we still managed fairly easy and would just get an uber. Can't stress enought how caring the hotel staff were in providing anything we needed. I was traveling with a foot injury that needed icing at the end of each day. Tony and his staff worked hard to supply us ice when needed. I was extremely grateful. Our stay was stress free and relaxing!
I did not realize that most of that area did not have ice machines. I was traveling with a foot injury that needed to be iced after walking all day. Our hotel worked hard to provide us with ice, but the surrounding area had no ice to buy. Again, not the worst thing in the world but a slight inconvenience as far as getting the swelling to go down. Sometimes our train connections would get cancelled last minute. That caused some stress but was usually easily remedied.

We will definitely stay here again when we’re in the Munich area.
Very welcoming and efficient staff (the owner family). Great attention to detail and excellent quality throughout. Very pleasant grounds surrounding the hotel - ideal for children.
