Amazing hotel run by an amazing guy in a breathtaking location
I absolutely fell in love with Caño negro and the surrounding area. The hotel itself is situated on a huge plot of land which you can enjoy at any given time. There is so much nature to see here and it felt like one of the last remaining untouched regions of Costa Rica. The morning bird tours were some of the best I've ever done, I saw so many birds out in the wetlands that I lost count and not to mention it's one of the most peaceful places I've ever been. I did two 4 hour morning boat trips and saw 1 other tourist boat in the whole 8 hours. Andrea is an amazing guy who will go above and beyond to help you, he organised all of our tours and was even on hand to answer any other questions we had about Costa Rica. The food is great too! Would recommend this hotel to anyone! People complain about the road, but it's honestly not bad at all, just some pot holes.
My only complaint is the vacant rooms seem to have their doors left open indefinitely. When we arrived our bed was a bit dirty and I can only assume it's because of this. Other than that nothing, amazing property and location!

L'emplacement de l'hôtel est excellent pour l'observation des oiseaux. Les excursions en bateaux sont bien organisés avec des guides compétents. L'ambiance est relaxe, tout est confortable et propre, le menu est adapté aux préférences des visiteurs. La présence d'une piscine est très appréciée.

Sehr schönes Gartenresort mit direktem Zugang zur Lagune
Ein schönes Hotel mit im Garten verteilten Räumen, jeweils zu zweit angeordnet. Direkt an der Lagune, so dass Ausflüge vom Hotel gestartet werden können. Sehr freundliches Personal und gutes Essen.
Zufahrt über unbefestigte Wege.
