Le cadre, un très bel hôtel dans un bâtiment ancien. Très grandes chambres. Très bon petit déjeuner.

The central location in a historic building was exactly what we wanted enhanced by quirky furnishings It was very clean and the bathroom was great.
Our room was small despite being a superior room, there was only room for one chair so if we wanted to relax in the room we had to sit on the bed. Little storage for clothes to unpack as we stayed 5 nights. Maybe better for one or two nights. The internet was not sufficient to work. The room could have been improved by a kettle as we had to walk outside and across the courtyard to use the lukewarm water of the coffee facilities provided. There was no window to the ‘garden room’ or view, to slow natural light in the curtains over a glass door had to be opened. The door led out to a little patio with table and chairs, this would have been lovely in good weather but did not enhance the facilities when we were there or provide the necessary extra space The patio faced a small garden which was not private to the room, there was a dog running around off the lead and was unattractive as used for storage; bikes, road signs, ladders etc and had a security light that flashed all night. There was an odd smell around the breakfast room (we ate out), coffee bar and in the bedroom. It may be worthwhile for the owner to discuss with staff to reflect on how they speak to customers and to treat them respectfully The housekeeper was delightful
