    Gute Lage für Städtetrip

    Das Hotel Engl ist in ein Haupthaus und ein etwa 80 Meter entferntes Gästehaus aufgeteilt. Es überzeugt vor allem durch seine zentrale Lage. Die Altstadt ist in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar und eine Bushaltestelle befindet sich direkt vor dem Gästehaus. Besonders praktisch sind die kostenlose Tiefgarage unter dem Gästehaus sowie einige kostenlose Parkplätze am Haupthaus. So kann das Auto während des Aufenthalts in der Garage bleiben. Die Zimmer sind sauber, modern eingerichtet und zweckmäßig ausgestattet, mit ausreichend Ablagemöglichkeiten und einem geräumigen Badezimmer. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück bietet eine gute Auswahl, sodass für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei ist. Es gibt keinen Kaffeeautomaten. Kaffee und andere Getränke werden freundlich erfragt und direkt an den Tisch gebracht. Außerdem erhält man an der Rezeption Stadtpläne und Ausflugstipps.

    Ein größerer Kritikpunkt war die Temperatur in unserem Zimmer (Gästehaus). Wir waren im September dort, bei knapp 20 Grad Außentemperatur war es im Zimmer trotzdem sehr warm. Auch durch das geöffnete Fenster ließ sich die Temperatur kaum senken. Da keine Klimaanlage vorhanden ist, dürfte es bei sommerlichen Temperaturen besonders unangenehm werden. Die Tiefgarage ist recht eng, sodass beim Parken Vorsicht geboten ist. Außerdem wird das Frühstück ausschließlich im Haupthaus serviert. Gäste aus dem Gästehaus müssen daher auch bei schlechtem Wetter den Weg zwischen den Gebäuden zurücklegen. Ein Verbesserungsvorschlag wäre zudem, statt kleinen Einwegseifendöschen einen Seifenspender im Badezimmer anzubringen.

    Passend für eine Nacht.

    Frühstück gut und ausreichend, Dusche und Waschbecken mit Kosmetikbestückung etwas dürftig.
