    Average stay but wouldn’t stay again

    Great location and an interesting traditional Japanese hotel experience.

    This hotel is run down and desperately needing renovation. The onsen was ok but was also run down with an empty cold plunge and non-functional sauna. The hotel said it would cost 1560 JPY to store our bags upon check out for 1 hour. In 35 years of travelling through throughout the world, I’ve not once had a hotel tell me I had to pay for baggage storage. Just left a bad taste in our mouth at the end of the stay. The Japanese breakfast were presented as a set and you had no choice in what was in them. This was not ideal.
