    Great place with comfortable room..with sofa, very nice staff, lovely restaurant and interesting fun features in the grounds. We stayed at a quiet time and had the restaurant to ourselves in the evening. The tasting menu was very good.. particularly the venison main course which was absolutely delicious. We had a great night's sleep in the totally quiet room and thoroughly enjoyed the fabulous and varied spread for breakfast.

    Small detail, but the naff shower head holder was a bit annoying as it could only hold the shower head at head height and spray horizontally.
