    Quiet haven in middle of bustling Kathmandu

    Great hotel, beautiful lobby, design award style cafe and restaurant, lovely garden setting and very comfortable rooms. Staff is friendly and helpful, good room service, nice gym.

    Pity you have to pay extra to use the gym's sauna and jacuzzi.

    A true Himalayan Retreat

    The hotel is located far from the congestion of the city, yet within easy reach of all the sites in Kathmandu.It has a great ambience, intimate and cosy, feels like home. The food was consistently good.And the staff, well cannot praise them enough! Amazing hospitality! Sending all my friends there!

    The bathing area was difficult for senior citizens.Climbing into a bathtub, unsafe for oldies.

    I needed to stay in Lalitpur, and Hotel Himalaya Kathmandu has been my go to place in Kathmandu, best by far. Staff is very friendly, breakfast is good, the atmosphere of the hotel is very nice, surrounded with greenery.
