More like an Air B&B than a hotel. Very agressive, rude owner.
We had booked it because it said it was a hotel, with a restaurant, based in a quiet area. My partner was just out of hospital, and as I myself am disabled, I was looking for a safe hotel with food on site.
This was more like an air B&B. We could not book in online "as required". Their restaurant was closed, so there was no food onsite. There was no staff available when we arrived, and a note was just pinned on the door. I phoned and was greeted with, how did you get this number? We had to go out that night and drive 5 Klms for food. Breakfast was basic and sparce. Overall the accommodation and total lack of information made me very unhappy with this venue. I cannot recommend it. 14th October 2026. I don't usually give negative reviews, but the owners response and further developments since we left have prompted it. I repeat, we could not ''book in''online. Whether that was a fault with their website or the internet, I don't know. Their website advertised a restaurant. A hotel implys staff, reception etc. As said before, my partner was just out of hospital. I wouldn't have booked this had I thought it was not a hotel. We arrived to a note on the door, no staff or instructions. I phoned the number listed. I was greeted with a very agressive man saying, ''how did you get this number?''. There was no concern or help from him. He was just plain rude. There is nothing strange in asking for what was advrtised. It's false advertising to say you have a restaurant and you are a hotel, when you are not. I was upset by him. As for his claim we were rude or strange to the only employee we saw the next morning, that is simply not true. I asked for black tea. They didn't have any and my partner asked for boiled water. The breakfast consisted of a few small cakes on a stand, a loaf that had perhaps 2 slices left on it , a couple of boiled eggs and some yogurt and cereal. Hardly a sumptious offering. We tipped the employee. It wasn't her fault. Unfortunately, we left two jackets. I sent a text apologising and asking if they could be posted to us. We would pay. No response.

Super fijn!
Super fijn verblijf gehad!
