    Comfortable large room. Full size bath and decent shoes. Supplies of toiletries, bathrobe and night wear. Staff were particularly helpful when checking out and helped to confirm a rental car booking. Food was delicious at the Cathedral Resturant

    Fabulous new place to unwind and explore Nagasaki away from the wharf crowds. Will go back!

    Location is quiet, but nearby the fabulous Glover gardens, one of Nagasaki's highlights. And near the lookout on the mountain above. Rooms excellent, ours had a view of the bay. Staff solicitous, food extremely good and served in the old chapel,

    The staff never told us that there was an a la carte menu, so we felt obliged to go elsewhere for breakfast and dinner our first two nights. We only knew about prix fixe if many courses. Since I am pescatarian and another eats no pork, plus we tend not to eat huge meals we were dissuaded. Only on our third day did we ask if it was possible to just order a single course. Lo and behold we could!

    I particularly want to complement the service provided by Asami Tanaka at the front desk, who was extremely gracious with me during my stay despite my clumsy missteps.
