    Little hidden gem!

This hotel appears to be nowhere, but it is a little hub of good food, wine and rest. The hotel itself has spacious ensuite rooms, very comfortable indeed. The elevator is very useful for those who can't quite manage the stairs! Plenty of secure parking outside as well as an underground garage. The restaurant has a lot of atmosphere and the food is traditional Italian, you can't really go wrong. Double room was only €60 in the first half of April. We paid €68 for two which included aperitif, three courses, full bottle of wine, a litre of water and a digestive. A walk before and after dinner was very quiet in a suburb with small agricultural buildings mixed in with residential houses and apartments. An ideal stopover after a day's driving.

    GOOD HOTEL

This hotel is situated in an Industrial Estate outside Reggio-Emilia. To stay here I would expect you need your own transport. There are no shops, supermarkets, bars in the area except for a very nice bar in the same complex as the hotel where I enjoyed some refreshments before dinner and breakfast the next day. The Hotel has it's own small bar at the reception. The rooms, like most hotels, are rather dated. I was travelling solo so they gave me a triple room with 3 single beds. It was very clean and comfortable. Everything worked. The bathroom was big with reliable hot water. Staff were friendly and multi-lingual. Ample parking and a nice park at the rear. Reliable wifi. Overall I had a very pleasant stay. I would not hesitate to stay here again, particularly, given the very reasonable room rate I was able to secure online.

    Very relaxed atmosphere

I came here for a long weekend and it was a very good choice. Rooms are big and clean, very good beds, bathroom is a decent big size. A big plus is the park just behind: good for the kids to roam or for that late night "digestivo"... The restaurant is average as food, but, with a very friendly crew running it, it makes up to a good standard.

A VERY GOOD PLACE TO STAY

I have stayed at this hotel many times over the years and can highly recommend it. The rooms are comfortable and clean, there is always plenty of hot water and the showers are good. Car parking is plentiful and even if you arrive in a large vehicle or towing a trailer there is plenty of room to park roadside just across the road from the hotel which is at the entrance to a small industrial estate. The on-site restaurant has a good menu and wine list and is open lunchtime as well as eveing. They also do take-away pizze. There is a cafe/bar open day times.
