Great old-world charm hotel
We had a lovely stay. Our room was huge. The bed was comfortable. Everything about our room and bathroom was clean. Our stay came with breakfast every morning. We had our choice of about six different breakfast entrées to choose from. We had a room with a view of the lake. Our room was quiet and comfortable. We would absolutely stay here again.

Very tired but charming facilities. Clearly ageing and in need of some refreshing. But some will say this is part of the adventure of staying in such a historical place. Staff were excellent. The owner was visible and very pleasant to talk with. The breakfast provided with the room was excellent and the dining setting in a courtyard among huge trees was very special. This place is very laid back and inviting. If you are looking for a place with all the amenities, this is not it. Some basic items normally found in a hotel room were not there (kleenex, coffee maker, hair dryer, ironing board, etc.). But if you want to experience a piece of history in a clean, safe and friendly place, this is it.
