The property consists of two hotels: Hotel Lido Beach, an older but very well-maintained building right on the lake, and Hotel Palace, where we stayed, just across the street. The recently built Palace is modern and very comfortable, with a touch of Art Deco style, ample parking, and a lovely swimming pool surrounded by beautiful gardens. Breakfast was served at Hotel Lido Beach, with a generous selection and breathtaking views of the lake—a wonderful way to start the day.
Although I preferred staying at Hotel Palace, crossing the busy road to reach the other hotel can feel unsafe. A safer crossing would improve the experience spatially if traveling with children. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, but I would encourage management to invest in better mattresses and larger televisions. The mattress felt too thin, more like one you would find on a sofa bed, while the television was far too small for the distance from the bed—you almost needed binoculars to watch it! Given the care and investment evident throughout this beautiful property, these details felt surprisingly overlooked.
