    Spacious and well-provisioned room Charming character and history of the overall hotel Very good selection for breakfast, and each dish to a high standard Polite cheerful and helpful staff

    Would have liked to stay longer Sad to see facilities such as the ballroom unused

    Memorable experience

    We love the hospitality of the staff. They were very accommodating, polite and courteous. We love the building itself with its history. We were happy to find out they offer a tour of the hotel. I wish they made this tour known to the guests and not waiting for the guests to enquire. The location was excellent. The hotel is on Tunjungan Plaza and there was a lot of shops around. Tunjungan Plaza Mall is just a few minutes away by walking. We love the experience of staying at a historical building.

    The bathroom: the toilet seat, the bidet and the bath tub. The smell from the bathroom drains. The beddings. I feel the room is not maintained well in terms of cleanliness and hygiene. The breakfast spread needs to be improved.

    Super verblijf

    De bar was bomvol, we konden er niet in de avond zitten. We vroegen in de lobby of we een drankje kunnen bestellen en in de lobby kunnen zitten. Dat mocht, maar helaas hielp niemand ons in de bar. Toen hebben we roomservice gebeld en zaten we op het balkon. Dat was erg jammer…

    Historical Surabaya stay

    Almost all, location and great staff mostly

    Sofa in the room is a bit too small for the size of the room, could be more comfortable….less foamy. The bathroom need some update as well.

    Wonderful hotel and very pleasant and helpful personel

    Room was very nice, we received an Upgrade. The building was very impressive and traditional. Personel were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good too.

    We missed a higher Level restaurant in the hotel. Hotel was on top Niveau and deserves a top restaurant. Sarkies has been closed down, only used for functions
