    Comfortable rooms and a great location — the perfect place to stay in Glenwood Springs

    The Maxwell Anderson is a really comfortable old hotel with attractively revamped rooms and a relaxed atmosphere. All the staff we encountered were super-friendly and efficient and the location is perfect, quiet but very close to restaurants and bars and with a nice view... and there's a great coffee shop (and handy brew pub) on site.

    The only thing to be aware of is that if you try to check in before 3pm, even if the room is ready, they'll charge you $25.

    The Location and the Coffee Shop are always wonderful. We also love the art work and the whole vibe of the hotel.

    We visit this hotel 1-2x every year. This time it seemed like the staff wasn't as welcoming. Our room was also smaller than we have gotten in the past but was more expensive. It seemed like the side of the hotel we were on was also very busy and there was a lot of early morning noise. Other rooms we have had, seemed to be quieter. Just wasn't the same experience we have grown to love.
