    Disappointing!

    The staff were fantastic, attentive & professional. Very helpful & accommodating.

    The apartment described as an annex to the hotel although apparently 200m away. Was shown to our annex which isn’t even in the same road had to navigate cobbled streets & crowds on one of the main pedestrian shopping areas. Not great when having to wheel 20kg suitcases to the room. Not a great option for anyone that isn’t fit and healthy. Fortunately we are. On arrival at what is effectively a self catering apartment found that toilet seat loose, lighting was poor. Blackout curtains but no privacy net. So effectively unless you want to expose yourself to surrounding neighbours had to fumble around until decently dressed before opening blackout curtains to let light in. Unaware that would not get towel replenishment so having to use damp towels over the 2nd & 3rd day. No instructions on how to operate the heated towel rail in bathroom so could have at least dried them out but couldn’t see any isolators or switches to turn on. I’m in the property maintenance business & I couldn’t see anything in the bathroom to give me any indication of how to use it. Even checked on the fuse board and part of the fuse board is not labelled. I feel a little bit letdown by this booking and it is no fault of the staff as they were excellent but also on arrival told we did not book breakfast, it would be a €15 charge for breakfast, glad we didn’t just to save our self’s the journey. We did however go back there to use the facility which was the rooftop bar area staff again were really nice in the bar once we were allowed to go there after proving that we were staying at the hotel. Just not great dynamics.
