  Convenient and fun living with sea lions

  Room 19 on second floor- about 10 steps - not a biggie. No view or TV or fridge or washcloths but cute balcony with hammock- great for air drying clothes. Fantastic bath products including conditioner! No closet but we survived as it was short stay. Extremely convenient location and fun bc we had sea lions entertaining us. Staff was helpful, breakfast was good and it was nice to have attached restaurant although we never ate there. Also nearby Playa Mann beach was great! Ate Brujoe and watched sunset while eating ice cream at the Pier restaurant.

  Beautiful rooftop restaurant

  We visited this rooftop restaurant twice, the cocktails are really reasonably priced from an average margarita at $6 to a flamingo mist of $8. The food range is pretty good with a limited menu with a lean on fish dishes, but they also have a special burger menu for approx $12 - $15. We had pasta for about $15 each and risotto on the prior visit. The views are stunning and the restaurant is open to none hotel guests. The service is quite slow, we waited about 30 minutes for drinks. On our first visit we got a small free dish of popcorn prior to our meal. At most there was about 6 people here at any one time. It's a lovely restaurant, really modern decor and scrolling clips of the animals of the Galapagos on the TV. On our second visit Christian the waiter, asked us to do a review and waited with me while I completed it. At the end of the meal he then requested a tip which he didn't on the first time visiting. I can't comment on the hotel as we didn't stay there but it seems like it has a modern front desk and nice beach front location.
