Everything felt like a hassle rather than a relaxing stay
The location
Parking was full, so we had to pay for a parking lot 10 minutes away ( they say 1 minute but it was actually 10) breakfast not included, reservation with view they said they cant reserve that. Everything was a “no” from the start. They told me via email if i check in online i get a free water bottle as a thankyou and when i got there they said THE WATER IS FREE BUT THE BOTTLE IS NOT, so im supposed to leave the bottle. We got pulled over by the police to make sure we has permission to be insise the old town in Ronda…and the hotel said they will make sure the car is registered…but everything felt like a hussle, not vacation

Tolle Aussicht

The location is excellent, if you have rooms with a view it could be very beautiful. Staff is friendly, clean room.
I was very surprised to discover that I had paid the same price for a room without a view as guests pay for rooms with a view. On some days, rooms with a view are even available for half the price I paid for my room without one. When I made the reservation, I wasn’t even aware that the hotel offered different room categories with and without a view. Perhaps with a view was already booked, that’s why. Regardless, the price I paid for a room without a view was completely unreasonable. Furthermore, I have to say that the breakfast was very disappointing. By the time we came down, most of the hot food had already been eaten. For a hotel in this price range, I would expect a much better breakfast selection and a higher standard overall. The hotel’s restaurant was also disappointing. The service was poor, the food was mediocre, and the view was underwhelming, as it was obstructed by stained plastic sheeting. On top of that, none of the staff seemed to speak English. This is particularly surprising given that, as far as I understand, the restaurant is featured in the Michelin Guide. Overall, I would not recommend the restaurant, and I believe the hotel offers poor value for money.

Very good position for a view of the bridge and very convenient to explore Ronda.
The hotel is quite "tired". The main complaint was a terrible smell in the bathroom, which they were not able to resolve. This is not acceptable for a four star hotel, especially at the price per day.
