    Despite the inflated nightly rate, it provided a good base for me as a solo traveller

    Good location just off La Rambla, close to Palau Guell and easy walking distance to 2 metros and Mercado Boqueria. Staff super helpful, insured I could change my room the next day, from a closed inside patio window to a room with a street view. Thanks Mia. Made a big difference to my 4 night stay after a 6 week trip. The coffee machine/cold water in the fridge was a big plus in the lounge area. Despite the overinflated nightly rate (that’s Barcelona) and the lacklustre breakfast, it provided a good experience.

    Inflated price and unappealing breakfast = poor value for money. Clenliness dubious, hairs seen on floors (in both rooms)and the room is tired and dated, although the housemaids were very helpful. The TV remote control only had one battery in it and the room’s doors banged loudly. Don’t rely on getting a taxi to the airport, ridiculously expensive.

    Awesome staff, nice beds and room.

    Room for breakfast is in the basement and not very welcoming at all. Bad acustics, bad lighting and not overly good food. Everything else about the hotel is very good.
