Please note that the hotel can only be reached by aerial cableways from Kriens. The last ride is at 17:00 in summer and at 16:00 in winter. Please check the schedule in advance. In summer, the hotel can also be reached by cogwheel train from Alpnachstad. Please check the schedule in advance. The aerial cableways may be temporarily inoperable in case of strong winds. The tickets for ascent and descent can be purchased at a discounted rate if you show your booking confirmation. The à-la-carte restaurant is only open during the day. Baby cots are only available upon request. Please be aware that when booking more than 5 rooms or more than 5 people, different cancellation and prepayment policies may apply. Ein einzigartiges Hotel in einer atemberaubenden Umgebung
Die Zimmer sind sehr funktionell und schön eingerichtet, es fehlt nichts für die Bequemlichkeit. Modern und schlicht im Design, die Renovierung des Traditionshauses ist gut gelungen. Natürlich ist das Panorama auf dem Pilatus einzigartig und die Aussicht atemberaubend. Wer dieses Hotel bucht, kann sich auf besondere Naturerlebnisse freuen - insbesondere, wenn die Tagestouristen den Berg verlassen und die Hotelgäste das Areal für sich allein haben.
Das Personal hätte durchaus serviceorientierter bzw. gastfreundlicher sein können: Ein Check-In 5 Minuten vor der offiziellen Zeit wurde grundlos und relativ uncharmant verweigert. Im Restaurant waren Küche und Service beim Abendessen mit der Vielzahl der Gäste augenscheinlich etwas überfordert, so dass ein Gang für uns komplett ausfiel. Unsere Reklamation wurde nicht verstanden, da nicht alle im Service die Landessprache beherrschten. Bei einem derart hohen Preis für die Übernachtung hätten wir insofern mehr erwartet und waren daher etwas enttäuscht. Das schöne Ambiente im Speisesaal - das man wegen der Verzögerungen im Service ausgiebig genießen konnte - tröstete allerdings auch darüber hinweg.
