kind and affordable staff.
The bed was for one person, not two. In fact The bed is against the wall.

Acceptabel maar voor de prijs matig
Goed gelegen centraal, authentieke kamers
Schoonmaak gebeurde 1x in 5 nachten. Bij aankomst nog haren in de badkamer van de vorige. Bed was zeer klein.

Great location for Kyoto downtown
Great location, close to shops and 5 min walk away from train station. Rooms were clean, staff friendly and free coffee in the lounge.
Rooms were on the small side, we asked for upgrades to a twin room but stacked the table and chairs on top of on another to fit our luggage. We had to leave our rubbish and dirty towels outside the room everyday to get fresh ones.

Clean hotel. Great location.
Super clean facility with friendly staff. Great location in Kyoto...close to everything. A nice place to relax from the mobs of people just outside the door! Frequent cultural events are scheduled in the hotel lobby. Rooms were small but that is to be expected in Japan.
We would have given the hotel a higher rating if not for the buffet breakfast. Nothing we read before booking the room explained the breakfast is 100% (bad) Italian food. There is nothing Japanese in the breakfast. Who travels to Japan to eat pasta for breakfast? After 2 days of bad Italian, we ended up not using our breakfast tickets and going out for breakfast.
