Great location for NYC
Great location in Chinatown, Lower East side, near East Broadway subway stop and also near Grand st subway stop as well. Safe area. Trendy area with lots of eateries for breakfast, dinner, lots of shops. Nice staff, emailed before visit and we got a mini fridge and extra pillows in the room. Clean room with everything you need for a shorter stay. Snacks first day you check in. Coffee and tea in lobby all the time. Decent hotel.
Cleaning lady skipped coming to our room twice. Not a major deal, but they give you 2 bottle of water daily for the room. That meant we had to go at front desk and ask for that! Safe was impossible to figure out and use even with staff assistance. The room had nice views and it was quiet for NY (just subway passing by on Manhattan bridge which we actually liked). But we had noise issues 4 nights out of 5 during our stay. 1st night, a drunk guy from next door tried to break into our room. We called front desk 2 more additional times! Once they weren't quick to come and help. Said they were busy. They never answered from phone in room. Just at 2nd try from my cell. We were asked about our stay upon check out. We were told a manager would contact us. It never happened!
