peaceful, dog friendly getaway with fantastic hiking right on the doorstep
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is peaceful and surrounded by great hiking trails. You can arrange a guide, but maps are also provided for many trails in the area. Some trails are within walking distance, while others require a short drive to the starting point. The village centre is close by, with a few nice restaurants. The dog park is a great addition, and the hotel is genuinely dog friendly. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming.
The only downside is that, although our stay was great, we felt the decor is a little tired. A small update would make a big difference, but overall we really enjoyed our stay and would happily return.
