Excellent hotel for our needs, central Rotterdam.
The location was perfect for us, 3min walk to tram stop, 5min to metro stop, 3min walk to The Erasmusburg waterbus service no.20 to Dordrecht. The hotel doesn't seem to use keys, but at checkin your given a 7didget code for your room lock which after a couple of openings became second nature and easy to remember, the codes are changed for each new guest. Good breakfast selection continental style but plenty of toast, rolls, spreads, cereals, fresh fruit etc. Staff were pleasant and greeted you in the mornings.
01.30am fire alarm going off on the first night and the hotel was evacuated, surprised that no fire bregade turned up to check the hotel before guests were told to go back in. I felt this was unsafe and maybe should be addressed, turns out someone was smoking in their room which is a big no no! Inconsiderate person I can only hope they got an immediate ban from the hotel and got sent away that night, probably not.
