Schöne, altehrwürdige Unterkunft inmitten von Weinbergen, mit Nostalgie und Romantik.
Das Hotel (ehem. Adelssitz) liegt an einem ruhigen und schönen Ort, eingebettet in eine riesige Quinta mit Weinbergen und alten Bäumen. Die Einrichtung gleich einem "kleinen Museum", etwas Nostalgie ist auf jeden Fall mit dabei. Maria, die Gastgeberin, ist sehr herzlich und aufmerksam. Weil wir abends nicht wegfahren wollten, haben wir in der Unterkunft gegessen. Es gab ein Buffet mit regionalen Speisen, welche alle gut waren. Zum Menu wird Hauswein (Rot- und Weisswein) serviert, ist im Preis (EUR 45.00) enthalten. Für Ruhesuchende und Romantiker ein idealer Ort.
Unser Zimmer grenzte an die Terrasse, welche direkt in den Wintergarten führt, wo auch das Abendessen stattfand. Diese Terrassentür liess sich nicht abschliessen, weil der Schlüssel scheinbar nicht auffindbar war. Das war zwar nicht weiter schlimm, jedoch wirkte das Zimmer deswegen recht dunkel.

The dinner was excellent and nicely served by 2 Nepalis Huge room with wonderful view Priceless antiques - like a museum An amazing establishment and clearly cherished by the owners Breakfast was arranged early especially for us

Quirky and a good stay but needs work
Fantastic location staff were amazing. They could not do enough for you. Definitely worth taking the meal option. Some fantastic dishes and you will not go hungry.
The property needs a fresh set of eyes in charge. Dog mess and cigarette butts outside the rooms broken glass in room doors. public areas need maintaining to a higher standard, needs a proper well stocked bar and breakfast needs reworking to be less chaotic
