La chambre était au niveau du grenier. Plafond très bas même pour une personne de moins de 6 pieds.

Spacious rooms. Authentic Venetian stay. Lovely garden. But also, 20% of the price is that garden.
The staff was very friendly and nice! Eating breakfast in somewhat open air adjacent to the garden in a terrace was also nice. The room was very spacious and full of light compared to other similarly priced hotels in Venice. The location is also good. The garden is absolutely the unique feature, it's lovely and cozy if you actually go and spend time in it. Breakfast was adequate enough for me.
Nothing drastic but it's worth mentioning to anybody who is comparing similarly priced hotels to be aware that you are paying ca 20% of the price solely for that garden. Which makes sense, as that is this hotel's defining feature and makes them unique from other hotels. Of course you're going to be paying a little extra for such a feature. A garden you will be breakfasting adjacent to, but also a garden you might not really visit or spend more time in because you'll be out and about in Venice anyway. What I mean by 20% is that if you compare this hotel with other similarly priced places in Venice you'll notice how everything else in this hotel beside that garden is going to be juuuust by ca 20% not as grand, if that makes sense. The breakfast is going to be just 20% not as plentiful, the shower stalls are going to be ca 20% not as up to date so to speak. Here and there you will notice little details. For example the room I stayed in collected little puddles of water to its stone floor when it rained. The windows only had thin see-through curtains but no blackout curtains - not a problem for me because I was wearing an eyemask, but other hotels I stayed at definitely had curtains instead as well. The shower stall showed its age in corners, the bedroom floor moved and bent under ones step a little bit, and so on and so forth. None of them a big deal for me, but definitely stood out a little. Since I stayed at 4 different hotels all in the same price range during my stay in Venice this time around, I got a little unplanned comparison to them. This hotel will be great for you if you want a spacious room full of air and light, or if you actually plan to spend time sitting in the garden, reading a book or whatnot.
