Perfect location!
I really liked the location of this hotel, is only two blocks of the main road "Paseo Montejo". The hotel was very comfortable and it has its own parking lot. The personal was very helpful and nice with us.

Fantastic stay, really hard to beat as an overall hotel experience.
We loved the room, on the third floor, great view on the church. Also the room is spacious, great silent fan, very comfy beds (the plastic wrapping did not bother us), cleaned every day with a great care of details by the staff. Breakfast was also very very good, prepared on site by a dedicated chef, limited but very good selection of eggs, fresh fruit, all served in the amazing pation of the property, quiet and next to the pool. Bonus, the check in, we arrived jaded after 20 hours of travel and we found Carlos, really made us feel welcome and even remembered we asked for an extra lamp (although in our room the ligthning options were more sophisticated already than said in other reviews. All in all, a fantastic experience, great staff, location, options. Also, really appreciated the secure parking free of charge just in front of the hotel. Really really reccomended. Also the hotel is kept spotless clean, all the time. Amazing job
Truly nothing we did not like, and we are demanding, we travel a lot and stayed in a lot of hotels.

Centraal hotel nabij hartje centrum

Highly recommend a stay in this unique hotel. Authentic spirit, modern hospitality.
Fabulous authentic converted home of a former journalist. Lots of artsy pieces and curiosities. A very friendly welcome by manager, who took time to explain A/C and room amenities. Guest rooms are large, mine had a fridge. Excellent shower & hot water. All staff were attentive and accommodating. Easy walk to interesting shopping streets, upscale restaurants and neat coffee shops. 2 minute walk across the park to a very local mercado with lots of outdoor food options.

I love this charming hotel and will continue to come back and stay every I'm in Merida.
I've stayed at the hotel many times over the years and it has never, ever disappointed me. The staff are always very friendly and helpful, the bed's comfortable, there's excellent internet, which is important as I work online, good water pressure and plenty of hot water. Everything is always very clean and the hotel is quiet and peaceful with gardens and a beautiful pool in the middle. There's a cafeteria downstairs for breakfast and a comfortable seating area with sofas. The hotel is in a perfect area just half a block from the pretty church on the square. There are numerous good restaurants and eateries. It's all easy walking distance from the main square with the cathedral and also for a stroll up the Paseo de Montejo.
Nothing I don't like.
