  Lovely Traditional Hotel

Loved this traditional hotel! We stayed in a traditional room. The staff sets up and takes down the room morning and night. The futons were very comfortable. The onsite onsen was also lovely and the staff was understanding for those of us who hadn't experienced that before. They have a lovely lounge area and a good breakfast buffet. It was a treat to stay here. We also were able to arrange for 7 of us to get massages- the staff was very accomodating!

A Serene Stay with Japanese Elegance

Hotel Shiragiku offers a perfect blend of traditional Japanese hospitality and modern comfort. The warm service and atmosphere make you feel at home. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed, featuring stunning views and soothing interiors. One of the highlights is the onsen, which provides a truly relaxing experience with its natural hot springs and serene setting. The dining options are equally impressive, offering delicious kaiseki meals that showcase the finest local ingredients. Whether you're visiting or exploring Beppu’s famous hot springs, Hotel Shiragiku is a fantastic choice for an unforgettable stay.

  I never felt so welcomed

Hotel where you are welcomed from the start. We were greeted at the entrance as they were already expecting us. Check in was a breeze and our luggage’s were immediately brought to our rooms by the friendly staff. The rooms were large, clean and comfortable. We had ordered dinner with our stay and they fed us really well with a multi-course kaiseki meal. The car park was spacious with enough room for all car sizes. We enjoyed both indoor and outdoor onsen very much. Will definitely return to the hotel.

Will choose to stay in this hotel for our next visit to Beppu

The hotel is excellent in general. First of all, the location of the hotel is good with less than 10 minutes walk to Beppu station, there is also bus stations in front and opposite to the hotel with easy access to attractions such as Umi Jigoku, Yufuin, and Beppu Global tower. The room is clean and tidy with great views, though we are not super fans for hot spa, we enjoy it very much, yet we love the bigger pool. The hotel staff are great too, they ran out to help us to carry the luggage’s when we arrived, they also came out to collect our umbrella when we backed to the hotel as well. Finally, their breakfast is one of the best I have ever had in Japan with much variety of Oita local cuisines, while the view of the restaurant is scenic.
