Good Experience Overall
First time to SSI; we booked this hotel largely based on its great reviews. Overall my wife and I were pleased. Good location, mostly quiet environment, the bed was comfortable, the staff was friendly and the simple breakfast offering was a bonus. Furnishings were a bit dated, and they should just remove the worn out ancient rugs. Housekeeping completely skipped our room on day two of our four night stay despite assurances we'd have daily service. The reason given at the front desk was they were very busy with a full house that day. Sorry, that's not acceptable. We would book an Airbnb if we didn't care about service. So our review is to say our experience staying at this hotel was good, but not great.
