Lovely location near the Baltic Sea with good facilities and a great breakfast.
Breakfast was very good. The breakfast room was also light and attractive. The area is quiet and the hotel secluded.

Jättegod frukost med allt man kan önska sig, men lite trångt i matsalen. Hotellet låg naturskönt och lugnt ute på Skeppsholmen.
Tvättställen på rummet hade en mycket opraktisk design. Vattnet rann inte ner i en ho utan uppe på en sten. Det såg snyggt ut, men när man tvättade sig skvätte det runt om.

Stockholm is a beautiful city, Hotel Skepsholmen a wonderful base for an extended visit.
The island of Skepsholmen is like a leafy green ship nestled within Stockholm’s beautifully convoluted historic harbour; a perfectly unusual setting for a hotel, and a setting that Hotel Skepsholmen fully lives up to. Its configuration, two separate very long, very old and beautifully renovated barrack buildings placed end to end, is equally unusual. Staff are friendly and helpful, the dining area beautifully appointed, the breakfast bountiful and coming back to the hotel for dinner hard to resist. Wouldn’t think of staying anywhere else should we return to Stockholm.
Not enough rooms with tubs. They did manage to move us to a room with one for our last three nights, but we were lucky.
