Original old hotel in historic downtown Prescott with amazing staff.
Location, literally in the historic town square on Whiskey Row. Love the fact that they keep this old hotel as original as possible including the old cranky elevator and front desk. The furnishings are adequate but no period type furniture in the room. Bed and bedding was pretty comfortable but not high end which I kind of expected for the price point. The staff was amazing and helpful and someone was available 24/7 which is rare! Room was clean and no smell. Air unit was older and a bit noisy but it works well which in Arizona is important!
Bathroom is cute but super small....not a problem for me but by extra big husband found it uncomfortable. If we stay again I probably would ask for the handicap room just for him. In an older hotel I find this to be expected so big people, just be aware. Also, it is quite a step up into the bathroom so not good for people that are unsteady on their feet. My only real complaint is there was literally only ONE outlet in the room and one prong was being used by the air unit. We could not plug our charger in the other prong as something was wrong with it. Had to use the only other outlet in the bathroom. Not a deal breaker but if someone was on a business trip with a lap top this might be a concern. We did tell the front desk and the maintenance guy was there and had a great 'can do' attitude and said he would check it right away. This hotel used to give a breakfast voucher for the number of occupants but no longer do this. Again, at this price point we sort of expected this. They did offer coffee and tea in the morning but nothing else. None of this would stop us from coming again but will be more aware when considering options.

you can hear everything from the street, very noisy place. it has a very old elevator that it gets stuck in some floors. it is an old place in need of tlc

Nice atmosphere and comfy but small bed
It was a really incredible hotel, just if you’re in a 20’s movie. Nice atmosphere and a good theme! The bed was comfy but a bit small for us, it is good that we are just engaged and like to cuddle!
The bed could be a bit bigger, than it would have been just perfect!
