    A wonderful authentic stay away from the big city

    We used to work here 30 years ago and last weekend we came back to stay and reminisce for the first time since then. We were warmly welcomed and the staff helped to show us around the 5th floor where we used to work. The room was well appointed and comfortable and the yukatas were really nice to wear around the hotel. Dinner and breakfast suited our western palate and the choices were plentiful. The bath house has changed since we were there but the outdoor Onsen was still the same and brought back memories of sitting in there while it was snowing in 1996. Thank you to the staff on duty for our one night stay. You were all lovely and made us feel very welcome.

    お風呂は広々していたので、とても快適でした。食事の内容はすごく良かったですが時間が短かったので、せめて120分は、欲しいと思いました。

    部屋が狭く、一泊だったので荷物少なかったので問題ありませんでしたが、スーツケースの場合開く場所がないと思いますた。 部屋のお風呂はあまり必要ないと思います。その場所に荷物開けるスペースあると良いと思います。

    接客は、大変良かった。

    設備が古さを感じる。冷蔵庫の振動で上の棚のガラスが揺れ音がでる。フリーWiFiが弱い。
