Please note that some facilities at our hotel will be closed during the following period due to renovation work on the Nisshokan building: 1st April - 31st July, 2026 During this period, the Nisshokan's large public baths, "Genbudo" and "Iso no Yu," will be unavailable. Please note that our shuttle boat service will be suspended for maintenance on the following dates: 7th May - 24th July, 2026 During this period, a shuttle bus will operate between Hotel Urashima and the tourist pier at 20-minute intervals.Guests with tattoos may not be permitted to use the property’s public bathing areas or other facilities where the tattoos might be visible to other guests. Great onsen location and experience
The cave onsens were definitely worth the stay. Hotel is large and mostly dated. Some renovations have been done. Food was great.

Great onsen hotel with average service
Very nice onsen hotel with beautiful rooms and incredible onsens! Lots of things to do at the hotel and the views are beautiful, especially from the top building. The room, even without a seaview was really nice with a view of a wooded slope and sky. Good selection of amenities. The bus/ferry connection to the town is very practical!
The service was not really what I would expect in Japan. I stayed two nights (the first one was booked through an agency) and switched rooms between the nights. I forgot some clothing in my first room and it was never found despite asking for it just a couple of hours later. The hotel offered no compensation. I also had to pay an extra charge of 3300 yen for changing rooms, this was not clear to me even if I had emailed and asked about the room change before my stay. When I arrived very tired, I was not offered clear information about check-out time, breakfast time and dinner and breakfast location. This was not available in the room either.
