unhappy stay due to the event
Overall, it was an ok stay.
The staff was warm and helpful in most things except one thing: The staff highly recommended a local driver to take us sightseeing. The price was confirmed at 100 euros per hour. When we made the payment, the driver added an additional 100 euros on top of his service time, saying we should cover his return trip time, which he didn't mention at the beginning of our communication. We then took a taxi back to the hotel, and the taxi only charged us 55 euros. So, the driver obviously overcharged us even if we had agreed to cover his return trip time. He was dishonest. We complained about this to the front desk staff, but they just made excuses for the driver, saying that the driver must have misunderstood us (?!!).

Best stay in Italy!
The staff were wonderful. Andrew in particular helped us immensely with suggestions. He even called us to let us know that we left some items in the room after we left. Everything is clean and neat and modern and the location is great. The breakfast buffet was delicious with excellent choices. Highly recommend this establishment.

This hotel perfectly complements the beautiful village of Cortina.
The room was larger than I expected, clean, quiet, very comfortable, with two balconies with great views. All of the staff was super nice. Breakfast was very good. The hotel is an easy walk to the bus station and right in the middle of the village.
