    Fantastic stay at Villa Florencia

    We had a great stay at Hotel Villa Florencia. From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel right at home. A big thanks to Gustavo, the owner, who took fantastic care of us and gave us some great recommendations to make sure we got the most out of our time in Turrialba. The rest of the staff were always ready to help and were super friendly - we especially appreciated help arranging us transport to and from various activities. The hotel is in a great spot, quiet and surrounded by nature and plenty of birdlife. Breakfast each morning was excellent too - chosen from a menu. We enjoyed waking at sunrise and exploring the hotel grounds. There are various look out points/seating areas to watch the birds flying between the trees. Also worth mentioning the outdoor gym provided a special setting to get some workouts in. A highlight of our stay was seeing the resident mama sloth and her baby on the tree just outside our room. We also were excited to see some toucans flying between the trees. We’d definitely recommend staying here and would happily come back.
