  Beautiful, warm & comfortable house in the snow - feels like you're really out in nature!

  This house was amazing! Our host Jari met us when we arrived to show us the house and give us the keys / show us how to use the door lock-box etc. He was really friendly and made the process really easy. Jari kept in contact with us when we needed it, not only about the house but also to let us know about northern lights, restaurant recommendations etc. The firepit in the backyard was so fun (in the snow!) and the snow toys for the kids were awesome (and toys inside were a huge hit with our young kids) - we did a lot of tobogganing! We were also lucky to see some fantastic Northern Lights from the backyard one night - overall the house was so warm and comfortable & we had an amazing stay - would highly recommend this house. We stayed just our family but you could easily fit two families in the house.

  Most magical trip ever!

  I can’t recommend this property enough. Most magical location and stunning property. Stunning 30 minute walk to Santa clause village, northern light viewing point 5 minute walk. The host is amazing, incredibly helpful, and so kind. Shopping, takeaway, and taxi apps apps, he gave us were super helpful. We loved the house so much we could have happily spent the entire holiday without leaving the house

  Perfect Winter Getaway at House Between Pines

  We stayed at House Between Pines from December 26th to January 2nd (2024–2025), and it was a truly wonderful experience. The home is stunning, both inside and out, with underfloor heating that kept it incredibly warm and cozy. The sauna was easy to use, and the utility room was perfect for washing and drying our gear. We were a group of eight (two families of four), and the layout of the house suited us perfectly. The beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of storage for all our belongings. The kitchen was exceptionally well-equipped, with everything we needed to cook every evening. We even enjoyed one memorable dinner outside around the fire pit. The host thoughtfully provided cupboard essentials like cooking oil, herbs, and spices, which was a great touch. The only minor improvement could be the addition of more oven trays, but it didn’t hinder us. The host was fantastic, regularly updating us about northern lights sightings and even helping us secure a husky ride after ours was canceled. When we had a small issue with the dishwasher (our fault), he quickly resolved it and regularly maintained the outdoor area. His local tips, including using the Wolt app for groceries, local events, and taxi services, were incredibly helpful. The outdoor space was a highlight of our stay. The kids loved playing on sledges in the snow while we enjoyed evening fires. We were lucky enough to catch breathtaking views of the northern lights. The smart TV, toys, books, and even a climbing wall kept the children entertained indoors. The location was ideal for us. It’s a peaceful, remote area, yet only a 2km walk to Santa Village, where we spotted reindeer and snow bunnies along the way. Many of the activities we booked provided transport from Santa Village, making it very convenient. For the few times we needed a taxi, it was just a 10-minute ride to the city center. Overall, we couldn’t recommend House Between Pines more highly.

  Cosy house in the the pine forest

  This place is outstanding. What a super location, in the woods, plenty of space for kids to play in snow, sledge right outside the door. Jari our host was absolutely super. Lots of attention to detail in the house, small things like some food, toiletries etc already there, great when we arrived late and no stores open. Jari gave us a full rundown at arrival. The house is very cosily decorated with a great fire & sauna. Highly recommend. We are already looking at returning. The house is 5mins taxi from Santa Village and airport. 10mins to town & ski resort. Superbly located. Taxis we're expensive but that's nothing to do with the house, it was perfect.
