    Good choice!!! Also, I think the best deal in the area.

    Quiet, comfortable, close to Plitvice national park with a car, very friendly host who made us coffee very early in the morning and was a great conversationalist.

    We really enjoyed our stay at House Mara. The host welcomed us warmly and was very kind and responsive throughout our stay. She gave us great recommendations for routes around Plitvice Lakes, as well as additional places to visit in the surrounding area. The room was clean and cozy. We also appreciated having the option to make tea or coffee whenever we wanted. There is parking available on the property. Shops and cafes are located nearby, and Plitvice Lakes is just a 15-minute drive away. We had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend House Mara!
