  Dit is een heerlijke plek. Weg van alle drukte en een prachtig uitzicht.

  De locatie is supermooi! Je zit hier zo vrij, met uitzicht op de bergen.

  Ik miste een fijne bank en ik vond het matras wat hard. Maar dat is natuurlijk niet voor iedereen zo, dat is persoonlijk.

  Depressing

  The view was absolutely stunning. Ratece is a delightful village and we were close to a huge number of walks. The hosts gave us a warm welcome, greeting us with homemade biscuits and liqueur. The property was clean and everything useful was there ( towels, toilet roll etc)

  The kitchen is extremely small and really hard to cook in. There were only 3 of us and we struggled. The downstairs living room had a really odd chemical smell and a sliding door into the bathroom. We never used this living room because of the smell so we didn't really ever have a comfortable place to relax. The towels all smelt of this smell ( they were stored downstairs) and had to wash them all to freshen them up. The house was very gloomy and although retro can be fun, this was actually depressing and actually gave us the creeps. There were Christmas decorations on the windowsill which, in July, made it feel unloved. The house was also very cold ( despite the heatwave) We never felt comfortable or relaxed and tried to stay out and about as much as possible. Perhaps the worst thing for us personally was the fact that the road that goes past the end of the garden is very busy and noisy. So despite the stunning view which can't be faulted, we never sat on the balcony as we could not find peace with the constant noise of passing traffic. There was another issue as well during our stay which we reported to booking.com - and to be fair to the hosts they did immediately offer us a 20 percent refund for this. Although the house was retro the price of it certainly wasn't. We paid over the odds to stay there and we wished we hadn't as there are much nicer ( and cheaper )places in Ratece. We couldn't wait to get away. Despite the fact that the hosts were lovely people we do feel they should be investing in this tired, odd and dated property before renting it out at a premium price .¹

  La ubicación

  La limpieza era muy floja. La casa muy incómoda, un baño en la planta baja donde había una habitación con humedad, la cocina super pequeña con utensilios viejos y desgastados. La planta de arriba donde estaban las camas con escaleras de acceso terrible y mosquiteras solo en la puerta de la terraza,.el resto de ventanas sin. Bichos dentro de la casa porque se nota que no se limpia bien.
