Honest Review of House of Comfy We booked this space through Booking.com about a week before our vacation. After making the booking, I called Fidel, who informed me that the amount displayed on the app was too low. I agreed to top up the difference, and we reached an agreement. On the day of our travel, we called twice to remind him that we were coming, and everything seemed fine. However, when we arrived at the terminus at night, I called him for directions, and that is when the drama began. He told us that it was peak season and that we were required to pay an additional amount. After some back and forth, he agreed that we could pay the amount we had initially agreed on for that night and top up the following day. Since it was already late at night, we were tired and had limited options, which I feel he took advantage of. The following day, we were moved to another house that had a faulty cooker, no internet for the entire day, and lacked basic cooking essentials. My suggestions: Kindly provide basic cooking items such as spoons, pans, sufurias, lids, and other essential kitchen utensils. Also, ensure that the facilities advertised are functional and available before guests arrive. Fidel, honestly, you did not do us any good. It was a disappointing experience, and unfortunately, our stay at House of Comfy was not what we expected.
