“[...] Welcome to my house. Come freely. Go safely; and leave something of the happiness you bring."
Amazing Dracula themed hotel in the Brasov mountains. The aesthetics were immaculate. The hotel itself being a castle inspired by Bran Castle with the white stone walls and red roof. Loved everything about it. The walls was decorated with medieval weapons and armor like swords, shields, spears, axes etc ... It was a whole vibe and I lived for it! The furniture around was medieval-inspired as well, and they even had some torture devices in the restaurant. And the reception had some Dracula pictures and Christopher Lee's Dracula standing to greet the guests. The biggest shutout to a receptionist ever! I asked for his name and I have no idea how to pronounce it, but he told me to call him either Radu or something like Caesar, but I'd like to call him "The Guy with the Dog", because he has a very cute dog. He attended the whole hotel for himself, bar, rooms, reception, everything! He even gave me a tour of the Hotel and told me ghost stories. Wow! He also offered to drive us to the closest shop, get us something to drink -- talking about service! Give that man a big raise already! It was also very scarily exciting that everyone (the Uber/Bolt drivers, the people who worked in the restaurant, shops and hotel) told us to not go out after dark, because of bears (and they were aggressive and would attack), and that there were bear warning signs everywhere. Loved that. There were also this amazing hike just a couple of hundred meters away from the hotel, with a very nice cave. Also bear alert. We did not see any bears, but it was very exciting nonetheless! Bran Castle was also about 20 minutes away from the hotel. We took a Bolt. Would highly recommend! Would definitenly go back here again if ever going to Romania! I kind of felt like one of Draculas brides wandering around these walls, especially after dark. It only missed a real vampire/or just Dracula himself, hihi!
The only thing we were missing was air-condition, as there was a heatwave and over 30 degrees celcius, so the room was very hot.

Very spacious; I managed without a car by taking a 12-minute walk to the bus station, where buses run every 30 minutes. Thematic great for a different kind of experience. Once in Braşov, it’s easy to get around to other towns using public transport.

Unsuitable accommodation for out of season
Nothing
It was out of season for hotel. It looked closed and unkempt. They reuse the key card folders. No lift from 1st floor to our room on 3rd floor. Told no catering in the evening yet they were seen to host a group of Italian guests when we returned from our evening meal at the hotel next door. Our room had curtains that were torn and blinds that didn’t work. The quilt did not cover the super king sized bed. The room felt damp and there was no heating. Mini bar was empty. The hair dryer did not work. Breakfast was from 8am. We entered the dining room at 8.05 to find it full of the Italian guests. I asked for yogurt and was told no more as it had been filled three times! I asked for jam as no jam left - I did get some. No fruit - all gone and coffee machine broken. Table linen dirty and stained.
