The location is wonderful. What you see from the sitting area outside is a treat for the eyes and you're really close to a lot of cities and interesting museums.. but you sleep in a quiet place. Very friendly people in the village. Kitchen appliances are good. Clean linens and towels.
The windows have mosquito nets, which is great, but mosquitoes would come into the bathroom from the outside (from a hole under the sink or a window or a vent, not sure). The first two nights it was a battle to the death. Then we covered the hole and the vent, closed the bathroom door all the time and it was all better. We told the owner and we are confident that he will fix that. The house was not clean (corners, radiators, shelves, windows) and there was a persistent chemical smell (perfumed garbage bag and house freshener or something similar) - probably most people would be ok with it, but I find it physically upsetting. Curtains are NOT black out.

Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder zurück.
Wir haben uns hier sehr wohlgefühlt. Vieles an der Ausstattung ist hochwertig und geschmacksvoll. Besonders schön fanden wir, dass auf viele kleine Details geachtet wurde. Insgesamt eine sehr angenehme und liebevolle Atmosphäre.
Bei der tollen Ausstattung würden wir zusätzlich 1–2 größere Serviertabletts empfehlen, damit sich der Außenessbereich noch einfacher nutzen lässt. Eine persönliche Präferenz von uns wären etwas härtere Matratzen. Verbesserungsvorschlag: Einer der beiden Außenbereiche könnte etwas zugänglicher gestaltet sein, sodass man dort auch bequem essen kann.

Lovely location on the water, really comfortable, and easy access to Amsterdam and Rotterdam with a car.
Worked really well for us as a family of four to explore Amsterdam and Rotterdam. Great to have access to the rowing boat too.
