Noisy
The place is very centrally located, and the room is really clean.
The entrance to the building is covered in spider webs. If you’re afraid of spiders, it’ll be tough. We stayed for four nights but were able to sleep for almost only one night. The people upstairs were moving furniture around and making noise all night long. Other than that, negative things were that there was no TV and hob in the room.

Overall we found this a great spot to stay.
Very quiet location and fabulous service. Bikes available for most of the time (one needed a minor repair which was attended to as promptly as possible)
Decking floorboards felt spongy under foot. Could do with some maintenance.

Unique and peaceful
We had a wonderful time in Amsterdam and on the houseboat. If you’re looking for something different and special when it comes to accommodations, this is the perfect place. In the mornings, for example, we were greeted by a family of ducks on the adjacent canal. The surroundings are green and peaceful. At the same time, public transportation is readily available, so it doesn’t take long to get to downtown. It doesn’t take long by bike, either.
We would have liked a little more tableware (one or two extra cups, spoons, or knives). Also, the bikes and the floorboards on the terrace were showing their age, so they might need to be replaced. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place.
