    Es war einfach ein Traum die Unterkunft liegt ruhig romantisch und abgelegen. Alles war super sauber und exklusiv das Beste was ich bislang auf meinen Island Tripp hatte. Die Vermieterin ich denke es war auch die Chefin war einfach super nett, sehr empathisch höflich und trotzdem zurückhaltend. Sie informierte uns über das aktuelle Wetter und über Möglichkeiten hier eine schöne Zeit zu verbringen Das Frühstück war ein Traum. Recht herzlichen Dank dafür!!

    Hrafnavellir was the first place I booked in Iceland and one of the best. The family running it was very friendly and welcoming, and I loved the balance of having a cozy main building for breakfast/lounging/chatting but private separated (and spacious and well-furnished) buildings to stay in. The arrangement seems very well thought-out. Breakfast was one of the best I had, including a fancy coffee machine that could make a tasty latte, and I appreciated being educated on what everything was (some places left me to guess..). Also got some good advice for the drive north.

    The one downside is simply that their location isn't really useful for staying more than one night! It's a ways *north* of Höfn, whereas most things to do are well *south* of Höfn. Also: this isn't an issue w/ the guesthouse itself, but if you're reading this I hope you know that part of the Ring Road near here charges a toll now. I got caught unaware...
